There is a high flow of foreign tourists into Goa starting from October and ending in May. There is a plan to build a new Airport North of Goa within next 5 years. This new Airport will be able to receive large jumbos and most of the International scheduled flights can directly come to Goa thus bypassing Mumbai and saving a lot of travel time and money.
